The question always asked is “why should I sign up”? There are numerous reasons why you should, and below we will list just a few.

Tickets to games:

Every effort possible will be made by the Supporters’ Club to ensure that a ticket will be obtained for a game (Home games only). Keep in mind that due to the high demand for tickets seven weeks notice is required, so check your schedules early!

Membership means Discounts:
When you sign up and annually thereafter, a membership card will be sent to you via mail (provided your subscription is up to date). United supporters can obtain great discounts from a long list of shops, hotels, restaurants and pubs by only showing their membership card. The list is constantly growing as well. Never leave home without your membership card!

Mementos:

Once your subscription is paid for the year, you will receive an original gift from us. This will immediately identify you as a registered member. In the past, such gifts as key-chains, car sunscreens and car registration stickers and lots more were given. These gifts are not available in stores, so sign up now!

Social:

Don’t know where to watch the game on Saturday? All your friends are married or support other teams? You don’t want to watch United on your own? Becoming a member will help solve the problem! Through the Supporters’ Club, you will make new friends who share your love for United and find out where we all meet for the games. Plus, it’s not a bad idea to make new business contacts…

Future Targets:

Before the season starts, the Executive Committee helps pave the way for the future. As the first overseas Supporters’ Club we need to stay focused and maintain clear and concise targets. Some of these aims are listed below:

a) Group Trip to Manchester:

Those of us who have been fortunate enough in the past to visit Manchester and Old Trafford know that this is a unique experience. Our aim is to organize an annual trip to Old Trafford that would include in a visit to the training grounds to see how the players get geared up for a game, tour of Old Trafford stadium and Museum, shopping at the Megastore, a ticket to the game and much much more! Although we realize that this is a very ambitious dream, we feel that such a trip is one that will stay in everyone’s memory for a lifetime!

b) Meeting Places:

Although some cities already have meeting places, the aim is to establish official meeting places in every district. This will enable members in the same district to have fixed meeting places either for official business, or the business of watching United!

c) Junior Membership:

Being a part of the United family is something we want to and should share with our children. A Juniors Membership scheme will allow us to accomplish this as well as create a fan base for the long-term future.
